Blue Blossom Staintpaulia AKA African Violet.
The tip of the Stemen is only 1mm...
and that drop is less than 0.5mm.

Taken with a Canon EOS 7D & the EF 100 mm f2.8 L IS USM Macro lens (braced, but handheld).

Nice! =D I use a Canon PowerShot. When I shot film I used a Canon AE1 at times but mostly a Nikon FG. My wishlist has a Nikon D700 and FX Series 105mm f2.8 VR Micro. *sigh*

...someday. :)

My AE-1 Program is sitting in it's bag on the shelf about 10 ft away. ;)

My FG is in a bag nearby as well, but sadly cannot be used due to an unfortunate impact. *ouch*

Ah.
I wondered when you said "Super Macro Mode" as my old Fuji S602Z had those functions too.
The Nikon is nice - but I've been a long time Canonite.
From the 2 company's lens offerings, Canon seems to have more of an interest in Macro.
