Last season's top fashion

I found nearly all of the old skin after the female Platycryptus molted.
LOL! I decided to photograph the carapace cover, so I put on the head of big straight pin.
A Good idea, but OH WHAT A PITA to accomplish!
The cover is so light that even the lightest breath sent it floating off the table. Add to that the outside is still covered with all these tiny hairs...
Approach it with a pin or tweezers in an attempt to move it slightly and it does the most acrcobatic funky things due to the tiniest of static electric charges.
