Sawfly Larva Trying To Flee The Scene

I went out into the yard to check the roses & see if I could catch the Leaf Cutter bees at work...
instead I found half a dozen more Allantus viennensis larva.
LOL! As soon as I touched the tip of the leaf set this one was on it uncurled and tried it's best to run away.
